Through these three photographs I provided examples of pattern and rhythm. The first photo is an example of pattern, the repeated design used to decorate which in this example are the bricks. The last two photos are examples of a patterned repetition of a motif formal element in this case are the magnets in photograph 2 and the wood sticks in the top plastic bin in photograph 3.
